REACh:

• We have published reports assessing the regulatory needs for:

Montan, carnauba and rice bran waxes and their derivatives; and

Aralkylaldehydes.

• Call for evidence: skin sensitising substances in consumer mixtures

• The European Commission has granted an authorisation for the use of

4-(1,1,3,3-Tetramethylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated (4-tert-OPnEO)
(EC -, CAS -) to Pfizer Manufacturing Belgium NV (Review period expires on
4 January 2030).

• We have launched 30 new consultations on testing proposals. The deadline for comments is 7 November 2022.

CLP:

• Two proposals have been submitted for:
• Pentapotassium bis(peroxymonosulphate) bis(sulphate) (EC 274-778-7, CAS 70693-62-8) by Slovenia; and

2-[2-chloro-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoyl]cyclohexane-1,3-dione;sulcotrione (ISO) (EC 619-394-6, CAS 99105-77-8) by Germany.
